BUDOSHIN JU-JITSU SUMMER CAMP This year's summer camp, under the direction of Prof. George Kirby and located at North Oaks Park, Santa Clarita, CA, has a very busy three day schedule, especially if you buy the “complete” package – and you can save $10 if you preregister before August 1. Topics will include the new yodan and godan kata requirements for Budoshin Ju-Jitsu as well as specialty topics by some of the top BJJY sensei. Anyone who knows their ukemi [falling skills] may attend this intensive camp. Yes, you may video/ take pix at camp. Go to www.budoshin.com/seminars.htm for more details and registration info. 2007 SUMMER CAMP DVDS According to reliable sources [the production company] the DVDs of last year's summer camp should be available at this year's summer camp and available online through the Budoshin Ju-Jitsu store thereafter. I do not know the price at this point. I'll keep you posted. 2006 Summer Camp DVDs are currently available at my online store. AMERICAN JU-JITSU ASSOCIATION IS FOR YOU! Thanks to all of you who emailed get-well wishes to my wife during her unanticipated long hospital stay due to very serious complications. Her 3-day knee replacement surgery [had her other knee done 6 weeks earlier] went relatively well. However, she came down with severe colon schema, which probably would have been fatal had she not already been in the hospital & monitored. Thank you for your support.
